wowww i'm officially on holiday now(:
how come? cause I don't have lessons on Thurs, and there aren't lessons on Friday cause it's term test week. woots(:
so i'm really looking forward to a break, but as you can see from the title of the post, it isn't REALLY a holiday. okay, here's why:
radio journ: current affairs package (thank God i'm doing with Alfred cause I'm not exactly sure what to do haha) + keep up with news for bulletins
radio prod: 20min radio drama
pr: crisis communication assignment + draft PR plan
zalina reminded us that once we submit our crisis communication, we would have odone 60% worth of our PR! :O goshh. time sure flies when we're having erm... fun?
masina: critical analysis assignment + primary research for our research prposal
medlaw: research analysis group assignment + study for test? this can wait.
wisp: group assignment 2 i think some thai analysis thing.
buscom: assignment 3 which i have no idea wat's gg on i better go read the brief.
OH AND. we actually have napha in poly. not that we have to pass, but we actually have napha. someone pelase just save me. or take me home, Lord? haha k im kidding.
to remain positive, i shall choose to focus on why it's my holiday can ACTUALLY be considered be a holiday. here are the things i'm looking forward to in the coming 2 (and a half, since im kind on hols now?(:) weeks:
dinner with noe tmr! then we can catch up and take photos or sth haha.
dinner with cher on fri!
a jolly good weekend to look forward to :D (leading worship, sam's party and others. it's a long weekend ahead but i dont mind)
leading worship at the g2 youth camp on mon
mission trip from 17th to 22nd.
breakfast with melf on 24th
lunch with serene on 24th
lead worship agn on 27th/28th weekend (on 4th/5th july too)
YA CLM BBQ on 28th
DAJIE COMES BACK ON 28TH! :D
then i start sch on 29th. okay, Lord may this holiday rock my smellysockss! |

OMG it's june alreadyy! :S talk about time flying eh?
since the last time i blogged. (which was end feb! :O) obviously LOADS have happened. i had a rocking good holiday (i worked, i played, i holiday-ed!)
HURR. visiting dajie in brisbane was really the best part of my hols :D here are just SOME of the pictures (literally just SOME cause we took like hundreds!)

of cos I'm back in school now. it's the start of the 7th week of school. the past 7 weeks have truly been crazy. 2 weeks into school and i felt so tired, i had six deadlines in week 5 which was maddd. i've had friends oversleep and jsut couldnt wake cos they, too, are so tired. but yesss I thank God for sustaining me so far. i'm looking forward to the break in two weeks time. actually it's just KIND OF a break cos ther's gonna be lotsa work to get done during the break itself. at least there's a mission trip to look forward to(:
next week's retreat week but I have school so I won't be there. to everyone going, do enjoy and have a blessed time!

'Melody.is.FREEEEE!" Woooooshhhh. HURHURRR exams drive me mad, i tell you. Sure, it was only 2 papers but stillllll.
Kk so anyw I'm free now and I feel a burden off my shoulders! And cos I'm feeling "blogger-ish" today, I shall I give a proper update.
It's been 1 week and 2 days since dajie left for Aussie. She's doing well, I know, but I miss her already. I hope she doesn't see this cause obviously I don't want to be sadd. But anyway it's just for 10months, then she'll be backkk. K, Jie, if you're really reading this, add oil!! Study hard! You'll be back in a jiffy!

Thank God for His provision that dajie and mum were able to find a place there on Wed. And that everything here was smooth and safe too. To all the uncles and aunties who were so nice looking out for us and stuff, thank you! (Not like you will read this but all the same, thanks!)
The house was truly quiet last week but was good too la since I needed to study. There were moments I was so sian and thought I was gonna die of bored-em but thank goodness I didn't. It was a really interesting week for ga and i but was cool(:
Oh but after PR on Fri, I couldn't seem to get down to study for ComIss til like Sat night/Sun?? Yeah was quite terrible.
Oh wellssss at least the weekend was eventful! Cell on Friday night was good as usual. I really enjoy this bunch and I'm so glad to be able to grow with them. Oh wait, Fri isn't considered weekend right? LOL oh wells.
Sat morn's CAMY training was funn and it went smoothly so yay thank God(: There was subway lunch (with ga, hannah and chloe. YES, i did feel old but it's okayyy), and grocery shopping (which totally unleased the aunty in me. I hope they didn't get a shock) and P.U.S.H. (we KFC girls wanted to attend p.u.s.h. but we were way too shy lol. Next month, next month!) and YA service (which Pastor Richard Wee was really entertaining! And of course brought the message across really well) and thenn YA CLM (which, thank God, I always feel better cos Nat is theree). That all took place on Sat and I was dead beat after that but the best part of Sat would definitely have to be heart2heart with cher.
After getting back to g2, I frantically looked for Noe cause I was afraid g2 youth svc was gonna start! Managed to find Noe so I passed her a subway-cookie-of-love-from-mel. Hurhur oh but that wasn't the best part of Sat. The best part was... i met cher and we talked for so long! I'm not sure if we talked for 2 hours? But i know she missed like an hour of service?? and I felt reallyreally bad but she's really the best mentor. Thanks cher for everythinggg. I'm so glad to be your mentee for past 3 years?? Haha wow, to many more years of precious mentoring! hurhur.
we took this some time last year? i think while the sec1s were having cell? we should serious take more photos when we meet lol.
Sun was DIFFERENT cause I didn't attend youth since I attended YA on Sat evening. Woke up to prepare dg potluck stuff (which I really learnt I need to portion and not keep overestimating? lol) and then I headed to churchh.
DG was a blast(: Even though there was rain and stuff, at least it was cooling and everyone enjoyed themselves muchh. I'm looking forward to the entire year of deegeees hurhurr.
It was joel's idea to do the "PUSHHHHH!" thing. but as you can tell, we girls were just happy to get to take photos(: Can't say the same for the guys though! (I meannn where's jem? And ricky? "Pushed" until they disappeared?? LOLL). The hortpark is quite a nice place laa. Reallyreally. Oh and photo credits to caleb! Yepp.
Now that my hols are here, I'm not intending to bum around and rot. Need to earn some money so I can 1. go for a mission trip in june and 2. visit dajie in Aussie (also hopefully in June). Believe it or not, I can't go for retreat this year cos it doesn't fall on a holiday week? Yeahh but hopefully all those other exciting plans make up for missing out on retreat.
Oh and just because I like lists, I shall list the things i'm looking forward to right now:

3. have long-awaited sisterhood meet-up! post-vday celeb/celeb of last yr's bdays?! haha and of cos our stayover.
4. enjoy other random perks of holidays (which i cant quite think of right now but i'm sure there are)
looking forward to this weekend too cos i'm sure it'll be a good break from the books. and mum will be back so yay. can't wait.
k had my 10min break so it's back to the books now!
